Our New Partnership with Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service

We have teamed up with the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue service on a joint community safety initiative. The aim of the project which will run for one year, is to improve the safety of older and vulnerable residents in the county.
As well as carrying out home security on all of our visits, the two security advisors will also deliver Home Fire Safety checks, fit smoke detectors and complete the fire assessment checklists.
It is intended the project will:
– improve safety from fire and other emergencies
– increase the number of residents given fire safety advice
– improve feelings of safety and confidence
– avoid duplication, improve customer experience and efficiency through a co-ordinated approach.
