The event is being held on Friday 12 June 2015, at St Ives (Hunts) Golf Course, and aims to help us raise vital funds to support the elderly and most vulnerable people in the county feel safe in their homes.
The day is as much about showing support for the Bobby Scheme, as it is playing golf!
Last year proved very successful. We had 18 teams and more than £2000 was raised for the charity – we want to beat that total this year!
The game will be played in teams of four – and even if you don’t know three other players, you can sign up and we will create teams.
Stapleford rules will apply and non-handicap players are welcome. The day costs £35 per person and includes a breakfast bun, two-course lunch and a round of golf. A trophy will be awarded to the winning team plus other prizes, including a raffle.
We hope the golf day will be a fun way for us to raise awareness of the great work the Bobby Scheme carries out and some funds to help us continue to do so.
We hope you will get out your clubs and join us at our golf day – all in aid of a good cause!
